Aberaeron is set in the heart of the west coast of Wales, situated between Cardigan and Aberystwyth. It is a town on the Wales Coast Path and the Coastal Way and is a beautiful location, with beautiful coloured houses nestled in the Welsh countryside and overlooking a beautiful harbour.
Aberaeron Spiritualist Church is set in the heart of Aberaeron near the harbour. The Spiritualist Church has been at the heart of the local spiritual community since 1958.
The Church was founded by Alice and Frank Penney and they maintained the church until they passed in 1976. The church reformed in October 1976 as the First Cardiganshire Spiritualist Church meeting once a month on Saturday afternoons.
The premises started holding a weekly services from 26 July 1986. Apart from one week, the Church remained open until COVID forced closure in 2020. The church reopened at the end of COVID and continues to go from strength to strength offering spiritual events, as well as offering a weekly Spiritualist services on a Saturday afternoon at 2:30pm.
